Game 2 in the NBA Finals was a crucial game because home court advantage held in the balance. Anyone who has been betting on the Heat throughout these playoffs know just how tough it is to beat them on the road. The Miami Heat are actually 8-0 at home so far in the 2014 NBA Playoffs, which shows just how strong of a home team they are. In fact they were also 32-9 at home during the regular season, while they were only 22-19 on the road.
If anyone can take a road game off the Heat though it’s definitely the San Antonio Spurs. They were 30-11 on the road in the regular season for by far the leagues best road record. In these playoffs though the Spurs haven’t been that great on the road with a record of just 3-5. Winning in Miami will be very difficult, but now the Spurs know that it must be done.

My Pick
I like the Heat at 1.66 to win the series. I don’t expect the Heat to drop a game in Miami and even if they do, they have already shown the ability to win in San Antonio, where they would have two more chance if they do lose a home game. The Heat just seemed to have the Spurs number last year when they won the NBA Finals in dramatic fashion, and I expect that confidence to carry through to this year.
Lebron James is by far the best player in the world and when you add Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and some very capable depth players to the roster what you get is a dynasty. The Heat will win this year, finish off their three-peat and cement their place in NBA history.
I also like the Heat to win tonight, but the odds of 1.50 are a little bit short so I’m likely going to stay away from that bet.
My Finals Pick after game 2 is the Heat to win 4-2 in order to clinch and win the NBA Title in Miami.
