The Indian Premier League is well under way with the Kings XI Punjab setting the early pace, winning all of their first three matches.
Glenn Maxwell has had a simply amazing start to the competition, scoring a staggering 279 runs, over double the second highest run scorer!
With his three knocks, Maxwell has set the three highest scores of the tournament, with two 95’s and an 89 at a blistering strike rate of over 210!
As for the bowlers, unsurprisingly Sunil Narine has made a great start and is in the top three of the most wickets taken; best averages and best economy rate.
Rajasthan Royals vs. Chennai Super Kings
Three from four Chennai Super Kings’ innings so far have been superb, however they somehow let the Kings Punjab XI chase down 205 in their opening match.
They got back on track in superb fashion against Delhi last time out though and go into their match against the Rajasthan Royals as favourites.
Both sides have two points from two games, after the Royals also lost to a Maxwell inspired Punjab.
I fancy Chennai to continue the form they showed against Delhi, even if the odds don’t have the greatest of value.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs. Kolkata Knight Riders
With all the attention on Punjab’s start, the Royal Challengers Bangalore have gone slightly unnoticed, after winning two from two.
Both victories have been routine chase downs, with Parthiv Patel giving them a solid foundation at the top of the innings.
The KKR should have been on two wins from two themselves, however they let a Kevin Pietersen less Delhi get off the mark last time out.
Unsurprisingly Bangalore are favourites, however my bet is for Patel to continue his good form at top score.

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs. Delhi Daredevils
Two of the struggling sides meet on Friday, as the winless Sunrisers face the Delhi Daredevils.
Delhi’s captain Pietersen looks set to return, having missed the first three games, of which they have won just one.
Average batting displays have seen Hyderabad lose their first two matches, with them scoring just 254 combined.
The bookies have this one down as a close run thing, with the Sunrisers narrow favourites!
When it’s a tough game to call, I suggest going with the longer odds, hence why I’m backing Delhi at evens.
